Gigi Edwards Bryant is a wife, mother, elected official, keynote speaker, business owner, and community volunteer. Bryant serves her community through organizations that address issues that create measurable, life enhancing goals and demonstrates opportunities through education, drug and alcohol abuse recovery and children in the Nations foster care system.

She is an elected official to the Austin Community College District Board of Trustees and serves as Vice Chair. Current organizations include: Texas Book Festival, ACC Center for Public Policy & Political Studies and MSBC Leadership Development Institute. Past boards include state appointments from Texas Governors to two chair appointments for the Department of Family Protective Services and the Texas School Safety Center. Past community service includes Austin Community College Foundation, Austin Community Foundation, Mount Sinai Christian Academy Advisory Board, Douglass Club of Austin, Austin Police Department Blue Santa, and Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center.

She has received awards from organizations that acknowledge her commitment to faith, children, community and education. Awards include the City of Austin Distinguished Austinite & Volunteer of the Year, CASA Fierce Advocate for Children, Campfire Promise, Girl Scouts Woman of Distinction, First Tee Core Values Award – Perseverance, Seedlings Foundation- Fab Five.

Gigi started GMSA Management Services in 1993 to provide business development consulting and lobbying services. Her expertise includes marketing, event planning, community outreach/engagement and team building. Her project management skills are strengthened by over 17 years of information systems experience and management. GMSA plan, develop, manage, market and deliver projects within government, private industry, municipalities and townships throughout the US. She also started The Write To Me Foundation, which provides rite to passage experiences to your that have experiences the foster care system.

Her education started at Austin Community College. She earned degree from St. Edwards University and the University of Texas at Dallas in Business and Computer Science and a global leadership from the University of Texas at Dallas respectively. She has an endowed Scholarship at the University of Texas at Dallas: Gigi Edwards Bryant Champion’s Scholarship, that provides yearly assistance to current students that have volunteered their time or work with children that have experienced the foster care system.

She enjoys golf, reading and travel. She has contributed articles to the Business section of the Austin American Statesman, Today’s Christian Woman, Austin Woman magazines and other publications.
